Public MisakaX 2.x downloads are attached to releases in straight-tamago/misakaX on GitHub. misaka26 uses the separate straight-tamago/misaka26 repository. We link to those owner-controlled release pages and do not rehost the archives.

There is no single “latest” answer across the product family. GitHub marks MisakaX 2.2 as Latest because the newer-dated 2.3 is a prerelease. The separate misaka26 repository marks 1.6 as Latest even though its release title says Unstable. Choose by exact build and channel, not the badge alone.

Match the release first and do not infer CPU support from “macOS” alone.

The official 2.2 release requires desktop iTunes and explicitly says not to use the Microsoft Store version. Download the MisakaX archive from the owner release page, then follow the Windows guide for setup; do not look for an IPA or rename the ZIP as an EXE.

Not when you need the desktop application. GitHub can show automatically generated Source code ZIP and TAR archives beside maintainer-uploaded assets. Match the exact application filename listed on this page; do not treat a source archive as the macOS or Windows app.

An owner-controlled release page establishes provenance, not safety. The maintainers warn that MobileGestalt changes can cause a bootloop and tell users to make a backup. A Latest badge, verified release commit or high download count is not a device-outcome guarantee.
