CAPABILITIES / SYSTEM FLAGS

One flag ledger. Fifteen different proof tests.

A checkbox is only an owner-listed entry point. Match the exact product and build, understand what the flag cannot supply, change one variable, prove a real task and verify the original state can return.

DIRECT ANSWER

The flag can change a capability answer. It cannot manufacture the dependency.

Use the owner’s minimum only after the product route is matched. A settings row proves exposure; a repeatable task proves function; normal core services and a successful reset prove the experiment stayed recoverable.

  1. 01LISTED

The owner names the flag and minimum.

  2. 02MATCHED

Product, release and exact build agree.

  3. 03EXPOSED

The intended surface appears after reload.

  4. 04FUNCTIONAL

    One real task works repeatedly.

  5. 05REVERSIBLE

    The exact-device baseline returns.

ONE INVENTORY / NO THIN PAGES

Twenty-six claims, routed by depth.

This page keeps the smaller flags maintainable. Complex families retain their field guides; TrollStore keeps its own exact-build intent instead of being mixed into a broad feature claim.

PRODUCT ROUTE / BEFORE THE FLAG

A minimum never overrides the write-path ceiling.

Resolve ProductVersion and BuildVersion first. “iOS 26+” beside PWM does not mean every later iOS 26 build is supported.

01 / Battery behavior

Charge Limit

MisakaX + misaka26

iOS 17.0+#flag-charge-limit
Can expose

The charge-limit settings surface associated with newer iPhone models.

Cannot add

A visible percentage selector is not proof that an unsupported battery path will enforce it reliably.

Native path / proof

Use Apple’s native Charge Limit on a supported iPhone first.

Check the supported path →PROVE

Set a limit, observe a complete charging cycle and record whether charging actually stops near the chosen level.

Stop / revert

Stop if charging or battery reporting becomes abnormal.

REVERT

Use the matching product’s baseline/original-file route, reload, then re-test the setting and function.

02 / Physical control

Action Button

MisakaX + misaka26

iOS 17.0+#flag-action-button
Can expose

The Action Button configuration surface.

Cannot add

It cannot replace a Ring/Silent switch with a physical Action button.

Native path / proof

Apple’s supported path requires an iPhone with a physical Action button.

Check the supported path →PROVE

Confirm the settings panel, then test only the physical control that actually exists on the device.

Stop / revert

A settings screen without a physical input is the end of the claim.

REVERT

Use the matching product’s baseline/original-file route, reload, then re-test the setting and function.

03 / Information UI

Internal Storage UI

MisakaX + misaka26

iOS 17.0+#flag-internal-storage
Can expose

An internal-storage information presentation used on other device classes.

Cannot add

It does not change flash capacity, free space, storage speed or upgrade the device.

Native path / proof

Settings > General > iPhone Storage is the capacity and free-space reference.

Check the supported path →PROVE

Compare the displayed value with Settings > General > iPhone Storage; do not use the new label as capacity proof.

Stop / revert

Stop if reported capacity or free space becomes inconsistent.

REVERT

Use the matching product’s baseline/original-file route, reload, then re-test the setting and function.

04 / Application UI

Clock UI

MisakaX + misaka26

iOS 18.0+#flag-clock-ui
Can expose

An alternate Clock interface capability.

Cannot add

The visual result and interaction can change between exact builds.

Native path / proof

Keep the current Clock layout if alarms and timers matter more than appearance.

Check the supported path →PROVE

Open every Clock tab you use, create an alarm/timer and confirm the controls still save and trigger.

Stop / revert

A missed, unsaved or uneditable alarm is a functional regression.

REVERT

Use the matching product’s baseline/original-file route, reload, then re-test the setting and function.

05 / Emergency UI

Collision SOS

MisakaX + misaka26

iOS 18.0+#flag-collision-sos
Can expose

A collision/SOS-related eligibility or settings value.

Cannot add

It cannot add or validate the sensors and emergency-service chain required for crash detection.

Native path / proof

Use only Apple-supported Crash Detection hardware and service behavior for safety.

Check the supported path →PROVE

Verify only that the documented setting appears; never simulate a collision or claim emergency function from UI alone.

Stop / revert

Never simulate a crash and never rely on an exposed row as emergency proof.

REVERT

Use the matching product’s baseline/original-file route, reload, then re-test the setting and function.

06 / Display input

Tap to Wake

MisakaX + misaka26

iPhone SE 2/3 on iOS 18.0+#flag-tap-to-wake
Can expose

The Tap to Wake capability for the two models named by the maintainer.

Cannot add

The claim is explicitly limited to iPhone SE (2nd and 3rd generation); do not generalize it to other Home-button devices.

Native path / proof

Check Settings > Accessibility > Touch and the model’s normal support first.

Check the supported path →PROVE

With the screen asleep, test several single taps under the same case and surface conditions as the baseline.

Stop / revert

Stop if sleep, wake, touch or battery behavior regresses.

REVERT

Use the matching product’s baseline/original-file route, reload, then re-test the setting and function.

07 / Biometric orientation

Landscape Face ID

MisakaX + misaka26

iOS 17.0+#flag-landscape-faceid
Can expose

The landscape authentication capability value.

Cannot add

TrueDepth layout, enrolment and model support still decide whether authentication succeeds.

Native path / proof

Apple natively supports landscape Face ID on iPhone 13 and later with iOS 16+.

Check the supported path →PROVE

Unlock from a clean portrait baseline, then test landscape at both orientations without changing enrolment.

Stop / revert

Do not change enrolment to hide a failed baseline; restore on Face ID regression.

REVERT

Use the matching product’s baseline/original-file route, reload, then re-test the setting and function.

08 / Application UI

Old Photos UI

MisakaX + misaka26

iOS 18.0+#flag-old-photos
Can expose

An earlier Photos application interface flag.

Cannot add

A previous layout can conflict with data or interface assumptions in a later exact build.

Native path / proof

Try the current Photos collection display and reorder controls before changing UI generation.

Check the supported path →PROVE

Check Library, search, albums, editing and sharing—not only the first screen.

Stop / revert

Stop on missing media, broken search, editing, albums, sharing or sync.

REVERT

Use the matching product’s baseline/original-file route, reload, then re-test the setting and function.

09 / Developer surface

Developer Mode / Metal HUD

MisakaX + misaka26

iOS 16.0+#flag-developer-mode
Can expose

Developer Mode and Metal performance HUD capability surfaces.

Cannot add

A visible developer surface is not a security-research entitlement or proof that every development workflow works.

Native path / proof

Use Apple’s Xcode-initiated Developer Mode route when that is the actual goal.

Check the supported path →PROVE

Check the intended Settings surface, restart requirement and one known development/HUD workflow.

Stop / revert

A visible menu is not proof of signing, debugging, HUD function or entitlements.

REVERT

Use the matching product’s baseline/original-file route, reload, then re-test the setting and function.

10 / Display presentation

AoD Vibrancy

MisakaX + misaka26

iOS 18.0 RC+#flag-aod-vibrancy
Can expose

A vibrancy value associated with Always-On Display presentation.

Cannot add

The maintainer warns that it may affect other tweaks; it also inherits the underlying display/AOD limitations.

Native path / proof

Treat this only as an Always-On Display presentation modifier.

Check the supported path →PROVE

Compare lock-screen color and legibility with the same wallpaper, then verify other selected display changes still behave.

Stop / revert

Restore if legibility, lock behavior or another selected display change regresses.

REVERT

Use the matching product’s baseline/original-file route, reload, then re-test the setting and function.

11 / Health eligibility UI

Sleep Apnea

MisakaX + misaka26

iOS 18.0 RC+#flag-sleep-apnea
Can expose

A sleep-apnea-related eligibility value.

Cannot add

It cannot add supported Watch sensing, regional clearance or clinical validity. It is not a diagnosis or medical tool.

Native path / proof

Use Apple’s supported Watch, region and sleep-data workflow for health notifications.

Check the supported path →PROVE

At most verify the eligibility/settings state; use Apple’s supported workflow and a clinician for health interpretation.

Stop / revert

Never use the flag as diagnosis, treatment or proof of supported sensing.

REVERT

Use the matching product’s baseline/original-file route, reload, then re-test the setting and function.

12 / Regional service

Find My Friend KH/A

MisakaX + misaka26

KH/A devices#flag-find-my-friend
Can expose

A region/device-variant value for Find My Friend behavior.

Cannot add

The maintainer limits the claim to KH/A devices. It is not the same instruction as temporarily turning Find My off for Apply.

Native path / proof

South Korea gained official Find My expansion with iOS 18.4-era releases; test it first.

Check the supported path →PROVE

Confirm the intended Find My people-sharing behavior, then confirm device location and Activation Lock expectations remain intact.

Stop / revert

Restore if device finding, people sharing or Activation Lock expectations change.

REVERT

Use the matching product’s baseline/original-file route, reload, then re-test the setting and function.

13 / Display behavior

PWM

misaka26

iOS 26.0+#flag-pwm
Can expose

A PWM-related capability flag added by misaka26.

Cannot add

The owner does not publish a measured frequency, device matrix or comfort outcome. A flag cannot change the physical panel.

Native path / proof

No owner-published frequency, model matrix or comfort outcome exists.

Check the supported path →PROVE

Do not infer comfort from the checkbox. Compare the same brightness conditions and use measurement evidence if PWM is the goal.

Stop / revert

Stop on discomfort; a checkbox is not measurement or medical evidence.

REVERT

Use the matching product’s baseline/original-file route, reload, then re-test the setting and function.

14 / Research surface

SRD Mode

misaka26

iOS 26.0+#flag-srd-mode
Can expose

A Security Research Device mode-related capability flag.

Cannot add

It does not turn a consumer iPhone into an Apple-issued Security Research Device or grant its program entitlements.

Native path / proof

A real Apple Security Research Device is specially fused, loaned program hardware.

Check the supported path →PROVE

Verify only the exact exposed UI/behavior you can observe; do not claim SRD status or security guarantees.

Stop / revert

Never claim Apple SRD status, program rights or a security guarantee from this flag.

REVERT

Use the matching product’s baseline/original-file route, reload, then re-test the setting and function.

15 / Store eligibility

M / Pro-chip game installation flag

misaka26

iOS 26.0+#flag-pro-games
Can expose

An App Store eligibility flag for games normally associated with M/Pro-class hardware.

Cannot add

A listing or install button cannot add GPU, RAM, thermal headroom or supported controls.

Native path / proof

Game listings retain their own hardware requirements; Resident Evil 4 specifies A17 Pro or M-series.

Check the supported path →PROVE

Record listing, download, launch and a repeatable gameplay segment separately; stop on thermal or stability problems.

Stop / revert

Stop on launch loops, overheating, unstable controls or core-system regression.

REVERT

Use the matching product’s baseline/original-file route, reload, then re-test the setting and function.

RESULT CLASSIFIER

Name the state before changing another variable.

This tool does not predict success. It classifies the evidence already collected and returns the selected flag’s exact proof and stop boundary.

HIGH-STAKES CEILING

Three surfaces must never become reliance claims.

These rows can at most expose UI or behavior worth documenting. The safe conclusion stops before emergency, clinical or security-program validity.

EMERGENCY / COLLISION SOS

No crash simulation.

Apple’s supported Crash Detection uses model-specific sensors, algorithms, connectivity and emergency services. A visible setting proves none of that chain.

Apple Crash Detection boundary
HEALTH / SLEEP APNEA

No diagnosis from eligibility UI.

The supported route needs an eligible Watch, region, age and enough sleep data. Apple says the notification is not diagnosis or treatment.

Apple sleep-apnea requirements
SECURITY / SRD MODE

No Apple program status.

An Apple SRD is specially fused, loaned hardware under a controlled research program. A flag cannot reproduce the device or grant its entitlements.

Apple Security Research Device

CONTROLLED RUN / ONE VARIABLE

Seven steps from native baseline to verified revert.

The workflow is shared. The functional test is not: storage, alarms, Face ID, charging and game eligibility require different evidence.

  1. 01 / ROUTE

    Match ProductVersion + BuildVersion.

Choose the exact release and platform asset before reading the feature minimum.

  2. 02 / NATIVE

    Try Apple’s supported control.

If it solves the task, no MobileGestalt write is needed.

  3. 03 / RECOVERY

    Keep the exact-device original.

Backup, untouched MobileGestalt and a reachable reset path come before Apply.

  4. 04 / BASELINE

Capture UI, task and core health.

Write one expected change and one stop condition in advance.

  5. 05 / SCOPE

    Select one flag.

Do not mix identity edits, unrelated flags or a second writer into the run.

  6. 06 / APPLY

    Complete one documented reload.

Keep restore success, respring/restart and exposed surface as separate events.

  7. 07 / PROVE

Run the row-specific task, then reset.

Verify core services, one ordinary reboot and the original baseline return.

OUTCOME VOCABULARY

Keep a useful failure instead of inventing success.

These labels make support reports comparable without implying a success rate or a universal device matrix.

01

Success / no effect

Write path reported completion; expected surface stayed absent.

02

UI only

Surface appeared; functional task is untested or failed.

03

Observed function

One repeatable task worked on this exact device/build.

04

Mixed result

One path worked while another mode, app or service did not.

05

Core regression

Charging, alarm, biometric, sync, location or stability became worse.

06

Verified revert

The original UI, task and core-service baseline returned.

RESET CONTRACT

Revert the state—not the desktop icon.

Deleting MisakaX does not restore device-side capability data. A reset is complete only when the original behavior is observed again.

  1. 01Freeze

Stop Apply attempts and record the first unexpected result.

  2. 02Match

Use the same product track and exact build route.

  3. 03Restore

Use Regenerate/original with the untouched exact-device baseline.

  4. 04Reload

Complete only the documented respring/restart sequence.

  5. 05Verify

Repeat the original UI, functional and core-health baseline.

  6. 06Escalate

If the baseline does not return, preserve logs and stop further writes.

DIRECT ANSWERS

MisakaX system-flag questions, answered by claim level.

Owner listing, Apple-supported path, visible UI, observed function and verified reset remain separate throughout.

What are the MisakaX system flags on this page?

This ledger covers 15 smaller owner-listed flags that share one decision pattern: Charge Limit, Action Button, Internal Storage UI, Clock UI, Collision SOS, Tap to Wake, Landscape Face ID, Old Photos UI, Developer Mode / Metal HUD, AoD Vibrancy, Sleep Apnea, Find My Friend KH/A, PWM, SRD Mode and M/Pro-chip game eligibility.

Why are these flags on one page instead of 15 separate pages?

Most need a precise minimum, hardware or service caveat, one functional test and one reset boundary—not a full standalone guide. Stable anchors let users and support replies link directly to a flag without creating thin, repetitive pages.

Where are Dynamic Island, Always-On Display and Apple Intelligence?

They have independent field guides because their troubleshooting depth justifies it. The capability parent also routes to iPad modes, camera/audio flags and the complete 26-claim ledger.

Does the minimum iOS beside a flag prove it works on my device?

No. It is the owner’s entry label for that feature inside a matching product route. Exact ProductVersion, BuildVersion, product release, model, hardware, region and service dependencies still decide the observed result.

Which of these flags are exclusive to misaka26?

PWM, SRD Mode and M/Pro-chip game eligibility are listed only by misaka26 and carry an iOS 26.0+ feature minimum. That label does not extend the current product range past iOS/iPadOS 26.1 plus exactly 26.2 beta 1.

Why is a system flag missing from my MisakaX app?

First confirm the product and release, not only the phone’s major iOS version. PWM, SRD Mode and M/Pro game eligibility are misaka26-only; other flags also have owner-listed minimums. If the matched current release does not present the expected flag, preserve that as an app/release mismatch and do not substitute identity edits or an unverified binary.

Can I enable several MisakaX flags at once?

The interface may permit it, but one flag per controlled run gives an attributable result and a smaller revert surface. If several variables change together, a visible success or regression cannot identify the responsible flag.

What does MisakaX Success prove for a system flag?

It proves only that a process stage reported completion. It does not prove the expected setting appeared, the behavior worked, core services remained healthy or the baseline can be restored.

Should I press Apply again when a flag has no effect?

Not blindly. Confirm the exact route/build, required reload and one unchanged test first. Record Success / no effect as a valid outcome; repeated writes without a new diagnosis add risk and weaken attribution.

Does deleting MisakaX from my computer reset a flag?

No. Removing the desktop app does not verify device-side MobileGestalt state. Use the matching product’s Regenerate/original-file path with the exact-device baseline and repeat the original functional test.

Will a system flag survive a reboot or iOS update?

There is no universal permanence guarantee. Test one ordinary reboot after the first result. Treat any iOS update as a new exact build and restore before updating while the known route is still reachable.

Can MisakaX Charge Limit work on an unsupported iPhone?

The flag may expose a selector, but UI is not enforcement. Apple’s native path is model-dependent; on any experimental result, observe a complete charging cycle and verify that charging actually stops near the chosen value.

Why does the phone charge above the MisakaX Charge Limit?

First separate a visible percentage control from enforced charging behavior. Record the exact limit, battery level, temperature, charging source and full cycle. If it does not enforce reliably or battery reporting changes, restore instead of stacking flags.

Can MisakaX add an Action Button to an older iPhone?

No. It can expose a configuration surface, but it cannot replace the Ring/Silent switch with a physical Action button. A menu without the physical input is a UI-only result.

Why does the Action Button menu appear but do nothing?

The menu proves only that the configuration surface was exposed. If the iPhone has no physical Action button, there is no supported input for it to configure. Record the result as UI only rather than applying more flags.

Does Internal Storage UI increase iPhone capacity?

No. It cannot add flash storage, free space or speed. Compare every displayed number with Settings > General > iPhone Storage and treat the stock value as the reference.

How do I test MisakaX Clock UI safely?

Open each Clock tab you use, create and edit an alarm, start and stop a timer, and verify the alarm actually triggers. A new layout is not a pass if time-critical controls fail.

Does the Collision SOS flag enable working Crash Detection?

A setting or eligibility surface cannot prove the required sensors, algorithms, connection and emergency-service chain. Never simulate a collision. Depend only on Apple-supported hardware and documented behavior for emergency use.

Which devices does MisakaX Tap to Wake claim?

The owner wording is explicitly limited to iPhone SE (2nd and 3rd generation) on iOS 18.0+. Do not generalize that claim to every Home-button iPhone.

How do I verify Tap to Wake after MisakaX?

Record the stock behavior, keep the same case and surface, let the display sleep, then repeat several single taps. Also verify normal sleep, touch and battery behavior before keeping the result.

Can Landscape Face ID work on iPhone 12 with MisakaX?

A flag may expose a capability value, but Apple’s native landscape support starts with iPhone 13 on iOS 16 or later. TrueDepth hardware, model support and enrolment still decide authentication; no result is guaranteed on iPhone 12.

Why does Landscape Face ID appear but authentication fail?

That is surface-only exposure. Confirm portrait Face ID still works, then test both landscape orientations without changing enrolment. Restore if Face ID reliability or security behavior regresses.

Can I restore the old Photos UI without losing photos?

The flag targets interface presentation, not media deletion. Back up first, then verify Library, search, albums, editing, sharing and iCloud sync. Missing media or broken core actions is an immediate stop and reset condition.

Is there a native alternative to Old Photos UI?

Current Photos lets you change collection display and order. Try those official controls first; if they solve the navigation problem, there is no reason to add a restore-style write.

Does Old Photos UI work with misaka26 on iOS 26.1?

The current misaka26 owner list carries Old Photos UI with an iOS 18.0+ feature minimum, and iOS 26.1 is inside the current product range. That establishes a maintainer claim, not a guaranteed result: verify Library, search, albums, editing, sharing and sync on the exact device.

Does the Developer Mode flag replace the Xcode workflow?

No. Apple’s supported Developer Mode path is initiated by a development connection/workflow and includes restart and confirmation. A visible menu does not prove signing, debugging or every developer entitlement works.

Is Metal HUD proof that full Developer Mode works?

No. Treat the HUD and Developer Mode as separate observable surfaces. Test the exact workflow you need; one overlay cannot prove device signing, debugging or unrelated entitlements.

Can AoD Vibrancy enable Always-On Display by itself?

No. It is a presentation modifier and inherits the underlying AOD and display limitations. The owner also warns that it may affect other tweaks, so compare the same wallpaper and verify other display changes again.

Can MisakaX enable sleep-apnea notifications without a supported Apple Watch?

No reliable claim supports that. Apple’s workflow depends on a supported Watch, OS, region, age and sufficient sleep data. A visible iPhone eligibility row adds neither sensing nor clinical validity.

Can I use the Sleep Apnea flag as a diagnosis?

No. Apple says the supported notification is not intended to diagnose or treat a medical condition. Use the supported Apple workflow and a clinician; never make a health decision from MisakaX UI exposure.

Is Find My Friend KH/A still required in South Korea?

Apple officially expanded Find My in South Korea with iOS 18.4-era releases, including people sharing. Test the current official service first. The owner’s KH/A flag is not a permanent statement that every current Korean device needs an unlock.

Is Find My Friend KH/A the same as turning Find My off for Apply?

No. One is an owner-listed regional capability flag. The other is a temporary prerequisite in the restore workflow. After Apply, re-enable Find My and verify device location and Activation Lock expectations.

Why did Find My stop working after I applied a system flag?

First check whether Find My was only left off after the restore workflow. Re-enable it and verify device location and people sharing. If the expected service does not return, stop further writes and use the matching exact-device reset route; do not change account country or device identity as a guess.

Does the misaka26 PWM flag reduce eye strain?

The owner does not publish a measured PWM frequency, device matrix or comfort outcome. A capability flag cannot replace the physical panel. Do not turn a checkbox into a health claim; stop if the display causes discomfort.

How can I prove the PWM flag changed anything?

Keep model, build, brightness, ambient light and display content constant and use measurement evidence appropriate to PWM. Visual preference or a visible flag alone cannot establish frequency or health benefit.

Can SRD Mode turn my iPhone into an Apple Security Research Device?

No. Apple’s SRD is specially fused iPhone hardware supplied as a renewable loan under a controlled program. A misaka26 flag cannot create that hardware, grant program access or confer research entitlements.

What can the M/Pro-chip game flag actually do?

The owner describes App Store eligibility for games normally restricted to M/Pro-class hardware. The defensible claim stops at listing or installation access. Download, launch, controls, stable gameplay and thermals are separate tests.

Can I install and play Resident Evil 4 on an unsupported iPhone with misaka26?

A listing or install button may appear, but the App Store still specifies A17 Pro or M-series hardware for supported devices. The flag cannot add GPU, RAM or thermal headroom, so launch and playability remain unproven.

Why did an M/Pro game install but crash after launch?

Installation proves store eligibility, not runtime support. Record listing, download and launch as separate stages. If the game loops, crashes, overheats or destabilizes controls or the system, stop testing and restore the flag instead of treating installation as success.

Do PWM, SRD Mode and M/Pro games work on iOS 26.2 final?

The feature list says iOS 26.0+, but the current misaka26 product boundary is through 26.1 plus exactly 26.2 beta 1. It does not include 26.2 final.

Can I apply these flags from Windows or macOS?

Use the platform asset attached to the exact matched owner release. An app opening on the computer does not prove the connected device build or selected feature is supported.

What should I include in a system-flag bug report?

Include true model, ProductVersion, BuildVersion, product/release, platform, selected flag, backup/original status, native baseline, Apply/reload result, surface result, functional test, side effects and revert result. Redact serials, accounts, plist contents and health data.

Are these MisakaX system flags safe on a main iPhone?

There is no zero-risk answer. The owner warns that MobileGestalt modification can bootloop. Skip an optional flag when reliable alarms, charging, Face ID, Find My, emergency behavior, health data, device access or immediate recovery matters more.

SOURCE METHOD

Owner names. First-party ceilings. Device-specific outcomes.

Owner pages establish which flags and minimums are published. Apple establishes what native hardware, service and safety workflows require. Your controlled test can document one device; it cannot rewrite either source layer.
